aplatform is a multidisciplinary design practice that invests itself in unique solutions for unique clients. The practice centers around print graphics and architecture, with emphasis on contemporary residential design. It combines the interests and expertise of its members, offering a platform for various expressions, whether it be graphic design, architecture, interior design, academic research, or curatorial work. Its core members offer combined more than 40 years of architectural design and building practice, ranging from small-scale to large urban projects, and more than two decades of graphic design projects for cultural institutions, with several international publications on its roster. While focused on contemporary design solutions, the practice also investigates the history of modern architecture, with a recent focal point on Hawaii modernism.
